Biology CLEP Exams

General Description

The Biology CLEP covers the basics across many fields within biology. Luckily, you only need the basic knowledge in each field. You will need to know the basic facts behind biology. Much of this is learning the language behind biology. The exam itself consists of 115 multiple choice questions.

The biology CLEP is broken out into 3 main sections which then are broken down again. They are:


Molecular and Cellular Biology - 33%
Organismal Biology - 34%
Population Biology - 33%

How to Study for the Biology CLEP

For start look over this site and what we have to offer. The easiest thing to do is get any first year college-level biology book. Many books contain all you will need to learn but make sure to do some practice tests once you’ve studied.
