Biology Active Learner Enzyme Tutorial

Good general tutorial on enzymes, what they are, and how they work. Short description of what enzyme-substrate complexes are and it also contains many of the other topics you will need to know about enzymes. Good place to start learning as it is quick but you should visit some of the other sites to get a better understanding.

Online Biology Book On Enzymes As usual the online biology book has a great lesson on enzymes. Fairly in depth stuff but as usual if you can learn what this site offers you shouldn't have to much difficulty on your CLEP exam. Pretty much all the topics on enzymes are on this page so I won't repeat this link in the other enzyme sub sections.

Roles of coenzymes

Wikipedia on Coenzymes Has a brief description of what coenzymes are but then goes into a little more heavy description. You should be familiar with many of the terms they are using although don't be discouraged if your not 100% on the exact names of the coenzymes. This page also gives an interesting account of how coenzymes have been traced back throughout evolution.

Enzymes And coenzymes

This is a great general site on enzymes. Explains a lot of the concepts you will need to know about in the enzymes section and uses fairly easy to understand language.

Inorganic cofactors

Enzymes Tutorial Great general tutorial on enzymes that briefly covers most of the enzyme topics you will need for the CLEP exam. Sometimes the explanations can be a bit brief but may help to bring the information together in your head.

Inhibition and regulation

Chemistry Inhibitor Tutorial

This is a from a chemistry class so you will not need to know everything that they are talking about for the biology CLEP but it is still a useful tutorial.
