Now that we have the "AND" or conjunction operator we move to the "OR" operator which is called a disjunction. The disjunction operator is usually written as \/.
What a disjunction is saying is that a statement can be true if either propositions are True. The statement also true if both sides are true. So the only time that the statement will be false is if both the propositions are false. Let’s take a look at the truth table for disjunctions:

So the big thing to remember about disjunction is that the only time that you will get a false statement is when both propositions are false.
